I like the way you’re working of a skill/interst of yours, and offering this to others. I can also see that it’s a field with growing popularity.
My first thought was to involve middle school and high school kids–but as I really want those kids to be spending time in real sports while their bodes are capable and their mental and physical health depend on movement & being outdoors, it occurred to me that doing this with retirees–like at Dirigo Pines could be really amazing!
Why–well old times can’t get out so much and do need to play and have social times, and they also have plenty of time, and patience, they might be very interested in learning some new technology, and they certainly have a voice with lots of lived experience. So while at first it seemed like a humorous idea–I recalled how many great capstones have brought tech to the older crowd with great success. They are often so supportive of students too.
So just give this crazy idea some thought–maybe even a few visits to the right folks…I would love to se what they think of the game worlds you’re familiar with!!
