Client Abstract –

MaineStream LLC Productions, is a student organized film company, dedicated to promoting the various types of student excellence, clubs, events, and student life experiences that occur at the University of Maine. Our business specializes in video, photography and advertising. We have a full crew that consists of production managers, cinematographers, editors, designers, and audio engineers. We work with our clients all the way through the video planning process, to sketching out beginning ideas, drawing out storyboards and creating an invoice that fits the clients vision and needs.

Mainestream LLC is up for hire, and while one of our main goals is to better the University of Maine marketing and community, we are continually working with outside clients as well and can be reached at mainestream04469@gmail.com.

 

Employee Abstract –

We believe that through our work, we will be able to bring the students of UMaine closer together, by encouraging student involvement, awareness, and providing a medium in which people are able to use as a resource.

MaineStream LLC, provides an experience for students who one day want to be apart of a film crew or multi media company. We cover the topics of film production, social networking, business management, as well as graphic design, photography and even audio production. It is a realistic and versatile way to get hands on experience in the world of video production and conveniently located right on the UMaine campus. We encourage the collaboration of students from all areas, within New Media, Studio Art, Marketing and even business.

Your task is threefold:

  • Register for this blog during class time when I will open registration. Use your maine.edu email to register; use your first and last names, use your first name as nickname/screen name, and use a password I will give you in class–or you can get this in the email I sent you.
  • Create a post with your first name as Title, a face photo as “featured image” and “Designer” as category. This will add you to the Designer section of this Capstone website.
  • Create a post with your project title as the Title, your best brief description of your project (1-2 paragraphs only), and your best visual as a “featured image”; then use “Project” category.
  • Add any tags that describe your project. Consider how someone else might search for it in a tag cloud. Include such data as: tech () , themes (death, travel, food), or location, like: fish, video, maine, arduino, housing, Javascript, orono, death, afterlife, installation, social media narrative, etc.
