This channel represents the work of MaineStream productions; a student organized film crew, dedicated to promoting the various types of student excellence, clubs, events, and student life experiences that occur at the University of Maine. We believe that through our work, we will be able to bring the students of UMaine closer together, by encouraging student involvement, awareness, and providing a medium in which people are able to use as a resource. MaineStream provides an experience for students who one day want to be apart of a film crew or company. We cover the topics of film production, social networking,business management, as well as graphic design, and even audio production. It is the most realistic and versatile way to get hands on experience in the field you love, and conveniently located right on campus.

Enticing video, good business plan, but I’m concerned about the scope–all student life? and video production training? and marketing for umaine? so try to find your forte, your angle–just what you will do best, and aim for that first. The others may follow, but try to focus for the semester at least.
Also in what way do you want to involve students? do you want to train lots of students to make quick videos that you will help catalogue and share? in what space? how? what will the video be used for?
